Enforced UC migration complexities was created by nonsmoker2008
Hello again,

Been knocked sideways since last Friday with migraines I haven't had since I was 14 (so that's 50 years), for no other reason than worrying and stressing out over the particular complexities of the migration to UC if every form question is yes or no or just other one or two word answers, and nowhere to add the 'why and how' details that change my case. My housing benefits and health and disabilities are themselves complex pictures which have involved many months (years) to settle, which they have been now for about 5 years so plain sailing. No unexpected changes to navigate. Until now.
How on earth can I get UC migration form to allow me to detail and explain things in the first place and have it actually read alongside the form as it is adjudicated?

Thanks for any knowledge sharing, from the depths of my dark room and 🤢 🤮 bowl 🥺

Hi nonsmoker2008

Universal Credit Managed Migration is all about money. So the nuances of your personal situation would be irrelevant as far as UC is concerned if they don't affect your UC entitlement.
As this issue is obviously stressful I would phone the Citizens Advice Help to Claim service and their number is on page 2 of your Managed Migration letter.
Here is a recommendation of Help to Claim--
