UC application at job centre ? was created by george
Hi there , was wondering if anyone ( if it's applicable ) has done their UC application at their local job centre ? It might be easier for me I think , I have no photo id either which is worrying me , I only have a 2013 expired photo driving licence . Thanks x

Hi george

You can use your expired driving licence as ID at a face to face interview in the Jobcentre. You cannot use an expired driving licence for the automated online ID check.

You could go into a Jobcentre and ask a member of staff to show you how to make your UC claim on one of the customer computers.

Thank you David . So if I go into job centre and make a claim there with or without their help on a computer, is there a way to still go ahead with your form on the computer at the job centre and then show your photo ID ( ie my expired licence ) to a member of staff there at the job centre to complete the UC application in full .Thanks .

Hi george

I would ask them that question when you are there.
