I am in Esa support group and pip. I have recived a migration letter and I have to apply by 10 October. My problem is I have found someone to exchange my house in the same bourgh. The rent is cheaper than the current house.so shall I apply UC before changing my adress or after changing my adress. Does the change of address affect the transitional protection?

Hi Yesuf

As your rent will be less in future it is better to apply before you move so that you get a greater Transitional Protection element.
