ESA to UC - premiums question was created by MrHumanBeing
I'm in the queue now waiting to find out what my first UC will be
The loan amount offered was UC as if no 'transitional protection' had been applied
I don't know if that means anything or just standard
Is it worth putting a journal note to explain I was getting enhanced disability and severe disability premiums?
Sorry for the query I'm exhausted after surgeries and things and hoping the transitional protection gets applied properly
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi MrHumanBeing
The UC Advance for a new claim is automatically calculated and once your claim has been accepted you can apply on your smart phone and get an immediate response. I should imagine that the Transitional Element has not been synced with the UC Build software that calculates the Advance.
Have any Forum members had an Advance with a Transitional Element included?
Maybe its different if you phone UC and apply for an Advance that way.

It will be interesting to see if any others have seen the transitional protection element applied to the loan amount. If so, then claimants might be able to use it as an early indication of how close the first payment is - but you might've heard about this already in the forums and your comment about the software makes sense!
