Hi
My hubby had a message off health assessment advisory service ref his pip review which we sent back January 25.
It states that this is for information only and to let him know they are managing his pip assessment
We will look at the available evidence and contact you with an available appointment if they need to arrange an assessment with him.
Does that mean he will get an assessment?
Can I request a PBA for him due to the amount of seizures he as and the time it takes for him to come back around to normality.
It will cause him so much anxiety and stress which will lead him to having a seizure.
He suffers with epilepsy and non epilepsy attack disorder along with C-PTSD due to childhood trauma which lasted for 9 years.

Hi Snuggles
Everyone gets an assessment - face to face, telephone, video or paper-based.
Less than 30% of the assessments are paper-based. Telephone assessments are the most common.
I assume from your comment that you didn't put on the review form a request to do a paper-based assessment? You might be lucky and they might give him a paper-based assessment. If they don't and say he has to have a telephone assessment - you can ask them to reconsider. If they refuse again, you can ask them to reconsider a second time. After it is has been reconsidered twice - you will have to accept whatever they say. As he has a large number of seizures, I would ask them to make a reasonable adjustment and do a paper-based assessment if that's what he would prefer. Just be aware that a paper-based assessment can be a disadvantage if a claimant hasn't submitted much evidence. If you think they are well aware of his condition - then it may not matter.
