If your partner were able to access public funds, when you received the migration notice, you would have both received forms. Partners then set up separate UC accounts, which are then linked.
So I assume that you are going to set up your account for the migration process. You will be asked to put on the form, who else lives with you and you will put his name on there. (but he won't have an account)
