Hi . I was wondering can U do a universal credit application over the phone ? What happens if they need documents ? How do they verify your identity?
I don't think I can manage a online journal either for various reasons , so it will be vua telephone for that too .

Yes, you can do a UC application by phone, contact Citizen Advice help to claim.

You can contact an adviser through their free Help to Claim phone service.

Advisers are available 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday:

England: 0800 144 8 444
Scotland: 0800 023 2581
Wales: 08000 241 220
