Hi all
Please help I think I'm going a little bit crazy!
Following a WCA been in receipt of IR ESA Support Group without a break since 2012. Received a Migration Notice June 2025. Claimed UC well before the cut off date Oct 2025. As I have no photo ID a home visit to confirm housing costs/ID was carried out Sat 11 Oct. All the documents were accepted without any issues. The housing officer noted that I was organised and had everything to hand making the appointment easy. I understood that I've to wait for the info to be actioned on Monday 12th, 1st payment on 30th, transitional payment applied and LCWRA group.
Today (14th) I've a couple of journal entries asking for proof of housing costs and to contact the offices who pay IR ESA & HB to tell them I'm now getting UC. I've replied (paraphrase) has the HO been mugged before uploading my personal documents, the 'offices' must know because I've been paid for 11 years and DWP sent out the Migration Notice! Is it me or is this just ludicrous?
Can anyone clarify what the Dickens is going on?

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.
I have no idea as to what is going on, what should happen when you apply for UC you add your rent details + any eligible service charges if you rent from a social landlord UC will contact the landlord to verify your rent + eligible service charges.
