Hello, I have quoted from the link you gave me and sent a complaint but had no response. It is now getting very close to the deadline date and I am panicking, while i wait to hear from them, could you clarify for me that this 'new' style ESA i have heard about is something i get without needing to do another application?

And is there somewhere i can get advice about how this changes my Housing Benefit, do i need to do that separate to the UC claim?

Do i lose Council Tax benefit?

Thanks

I tried asking for someone to give me the email adress for my local area manager, to put in a complaint but the messge has not appeared so writing it again.

Same request as this, different area; benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum/10-dla-esa-q...mination-of-benefits

Hi Rococo

You need to tell me the town or county where you live.

Hi Rococo

No you do not lose Council Tax Support as it is not linked directly to UC unlike housing benefit which stops when you apply or you fail to apply for UC. HB going forward will be known as Housing Element when you apply for UC.
