Hi,
I have received form AR2 light touch review. I have read the Benefits and work guide and plan on putting no change as there has been no significant change. Is it better to send up to date (last 2 years) medical evidence to support the no change answers or just send the form back without any up to date information ? I am it bit worried if I send quite a bit of evidence in that it could trigger a deeper review
Thanks

Hi tony horse

It's up to you - there is an assumption that no change means your needs remain the same. Have a look at page 135 of the Guide to PIP Claims and Reviews and the AR2 form. It doesn't say there is a need to send in up-to-date paperwork. Sending it wouldn't trigger a deeper review.

Hi my son recently had his 10 year light touch review. I ticked no change and submitted updated evidence he has had since then. I didn’t have a lot to send in and I did wonder if I should have written more. I heard absolutely nothing for 3 months not even a text to say they had received it. Then out of the blue a letter came it said they had looked at the answers on the light touch form , the information I had sent in and the original evidence from 10 years ago from his occupational therapist at the time and awarded him another 10 years before they will be in touch. October 2035. He has enhanced on both. I think send in anything extra you have as this will help but try not to stress they are literally just checking you still have the same needs. Take care
