U.C. question was created by Darrin
Q: Re, U.C. migration underpayment of transitional protection.
Dear sir, I migrated from ESA to UC my award is less than what I was receiving under ESA, I have written many posts on my journal page.
I am now at the stage of mandatory reconsideration; I submitted additional information proving my ESA rates. My question is, I understand they have 3 months to reply, this time period ends this coming Friday 14th Nov. What do I do if I have not heard back from them with an answer?
Also is it worth writing a note on my journal page reminding then this Friday is their time limit?
Kind regards.

Hi Darrin
I am interested to know how you came to believe that the DWP has to respond to a Mandatory Reconsideration within 3 months ?

Hi David, thanks for the info.
So if it it's not 3 months, is there a time limit they work to?
It seams odd that we have time limits, meaning if I have to appeal the M.R. should it not rule in my favor, I have just 1 month time limit to reply/object.
Is there an average time line for a M.R, as on the face of it an underpayment on trasitional protection should be a simple issue to put write?
Best regards,
Mark.
