Hi all, I've just received a text message to say I'm going to have a telephone assessment at the end of the month. I let them know there was a change to my situation, I was awarded enhanced mobility & standard care for 10 years about 2 years ago, I've a lot of health issues heart cancer twice, mini stroke, back surgery, arthritis on my fingers, and to top it off I've had a below knee amputation start of this year after a traumatic accident and my stump is not fully healed yet following several infections. Do you think I should have let them know I had a change of circumstances for the worst or should have said nothing. Thanks, Horse

Hi Horse

If your circumstances have deteriorated then you are correct in reporting a change in your circumstances. If you are successful and awarded enhanced for both components, then it should be backdated to the date of your phone call, so make sure you make a note of when you contacted PIP and reported a change of circumstance.
