Hopefully you will be able to answer my query, I understand that you will answer with 'as it is now' and the DWP could change the criteria. I am 65 and I'm in receipt of UC and PIP, my husband is 67 and receives State pension and PIP my question is, when I become pension age what will happen to my UC claim, as in the housing benefit council tax and the severe disability premium will that all stop I'm really worried if it does how I will pay my rent and pay my bills.

Hi Lynz

I cannot answer your question as I am not prescient. All sorts of changes may happen to Benefits and Council Tax in the coming years. The best thing you can do is keep an eye on the News section at BenefitsandWork www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news
