I thought I’d share with you the recent timeline of my partners pip review, which was due renewal in April 2026, having been awarded for 3 years in 2023.

Text received on 15th September to say pip review had started, a week later paperwork arrived. We used all of the advice in The benefits and works guides, I wrote a letter stating how all the conditions affected her under each descriptor, we also had one relative and one friend write too explaining what they observed. We added two letters from recent medical appointments. We treated it as a new application. We were expecting to wait for months.

On 1st December she received a we have completed your pip review text. We checked on the gov proof of benefits site, and we can see that her enhanced rates for both mobility and daily living have been extended until for four years until 2029

So pleased with this outcome and thanks for the invaluable guides.
