PIP decision and Xmas bonus

Hi,

After filling in and sending off my PIP review form 4 weeks ago I yesterday morning (8thDec) had the standard text, saying that a decision has been made and I would have a letter about it in 2 weeks. Looking at my bank account today I see that a DWP PIP £10 has been credited, on the 9th. It doesn't actually say 'XB', but I'm assuming it's the Xmas bonus. My question is, can I assume that, as this payment was made after my review decision was made, the decision could not have been to cancel my PIP? I imagine that had my PIP been cancelled it would have been effective forthwith, and therefore no Xmas bonus following the decision.
