Esa appeal

Hi there im just wondering if anyone else as had this problem where dwp never sent any correspondence regarding not qaulifing for esa after assessment apart from a phone call they told me to apply for job seekers or universal credit but ive a 3mth sick note and definitely not able to work ive had no mandatory reconsideration note because they never sent one and today theyve told me to go for appeal tribunal without going through the proper channels first ive done the on line appeal anyone else had same issue
