UC claimant commitments was created by buster21
Hi all
Helping daughter with new UC claim. Fit not in place for 3 months. Expected to be renewed by GP. Expected to be found to have LCW and LCWRA. Said this in journal - DWP aware. Severe long term non physical health conditions. Work coach spoke to daughter regarding claimant commitment. I helped her. Work coach has said she must accept daughter submitting a CV within next 3 weeks. And has said she must accept a monthly phone call from work coach. Also said something about a 4 hour per week requirement to do something? This may have been working on the CV.
Does the above claimant commitment sound reasonable given the circumstances?
And am I correct, once UC50 completed and WCA carried out and if found to have the above LCWRA. Would it normal to have no work related conditionality? Or has the dial moved regarding this?
Thanks
Buster

Hi buster21
Yes it appears reasonable. At least she does not have to go into the local Jobcentre and the interviews are being done over the phone. The 4 hours per week activity could be something such as reading so as to improve understanding of English.
If given LCWRA then she would not have to do anything. However if the result of the WCA is LCW then she would have further Work Coach appointments.
