job centre contact was created by shadows
Hi.i ve had 2 messages from the local job centre in the last 3 weeks asking if i want any help or assistance from them.I migrated from ESA to UC last Jan. I have the health element and no work related activities.I have ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia,I still see my Dr every 6 to 8 and he still covers me with sick notes and says i cant work. The job centre says its voluntary and i dont have to take them up on my offer and it wont affect my benefit and its not a reassessment.
Am i best keep refusing or am i best having contact with them to get them off my back?
Any helpful advice would be gratefully received

Hi shadows

Only you can answer your question.

The messages you have received are standard, the Government is trying to get claimants off benefits and back into some type of work. If you are not sure what to do discuss it with your Doctor, your condition may be deteriorating, if you Dr says no then inform your local job centre.
