I won my appeal over 2 weeks ago. I’ve had the courts decision letter but nothing from the DWP.I’m still on the low award money. Today I got a text of them saying they had tried to call me. I’ve checked my calls list nothing. They said they’ve phoned me to discuss my successful PIP appeal and asked me to call them back.
I called the, the call went off. Why do they want to speak to me? I’m worried about it.
Congratulations on winning your appeal. The money can take up to four weeks to appear in people's bank accounts. I can't say why they might be phoning you, but I have known them to check on people's bank details or explain what the appeal means in terms of back payment. Try not to worry about it and make the call.
