UC phone interviews happening outside of established times was created by Invisible
Hi,
After recently moving from IR ESA with WRAG, to UC, had a phone interview happening 15 minutes before the time that was established in my Journal, i.e. 2.15 pm instead of 2.30 pm. Is that kind of thing very common with UC? I am quite the person who observes rules and I don't like people who don't....to my mind that's a kind of unnecessary sloppiness and mindlessness. Now I am not saying I am - obsessed - with rules or that I 'live by the book', I don't, but an appointment is an appointment....if enough precision is expected of me, fair enough, rules are in place for good reasons, at least in democratic countries. But I expect basic precision too.
Further, I am not a telephone person at all, and I keep it off most of the time. Fortunately I had it on well before the appointment, otherwise I'd have missed it and get a sanction, and good luck getting into a whole new circle of unnecessary mandatory reconsiderations, etc....
Should I make a complaint? I am prepared to do it, lest the randomness becomes a habit, it's unsettling as you might be busy with something else and all of a sudden, hey it's your work coach, just a bit earlier today. Quickly run to the phone!
Or perhaps I am being too strict. Any thoughts? Thanks.
