PIP no change AR2 was created by Anne
Hi, we have received an AR2 form to complete for our son. His condition/needs have remained consistent over the 10 years since he was first awarded PIP. However over the years there have been a few minor downturns that we think are relevant and should be noted on the AR2 i.e. the occasional use of tena pads, prescribed analgesics for knee pain etc. These do not seem significant enough to tick the yes boxes. Should we therefore tick the no boxes but then add comments in the spaces underneath? This is the first review we have had and worried about ticking the wrong box! Thank you

Hi Anne

I have moved your post. We ask members not to ask questions within someone else's post about their own cases because it can get confusing if we're trying to answer more than one person, and there's a risk we may give someone an incorrect answer. I know you have a similar issue, but we need to make sure you get your specific answer.

The AR2s are still quite new, and the only advice I can give here is to do what feels right for you. It doesn't say whether changes have to be 'significant changes'. If you feel the need to mention the changes, then I personally would tick yes, because there has been a change. (However, that is my personal view). I also understand your point of view. So if you're unsure, you can either leave the box empty and add an explanation of why you haven't ticked it, or tick no as you suggested and still put something in the box to make it clear that you don't think it is a significant change.
