Access to Work - PIP implications

Hi, I know that technically Access to Work has no effect on PIP entitlement. I am wondering if DWP can use any information I provide in an Access to Work assessment for use when reassessing or spontaneously reviewing my PIP. I have started a new position recently and have been advised Access to Work could be beneficial, but I am concerned that the DWP departments can and will share information which could put my PIP at risk. Do you know if they do this or if this has happened to other claimants?

Hi Ka

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. At the moment, I think the answer is no, but as the DWP is moving towards more integrated systems, I would think in the future the answer would be yes - but there is nothing that I can find that gives a concrete answer on this.
