Hello, I am in the ESA support group and I am on contributions ESA. I got a payment this morning as usual but the amounts are split into EESA and then £20 JSA. This hasn’t happened before. Does that mean they have moved me into another group without telling me? Thanks

I expect you are talking about the bank reference. No it has nothing to do with being moved to another group. It is just that the DWP used 2 differenct payment systems within Opstrat JSAPS. I cannot say why. Maybe if this has happened to other Forum members they may know.

I am also under going a PIP review so I’m wondering if they have taken away my award and that has meant someone has manually paid the ESA. I may be being paranoid though!

It would not be that as New Style ESA is not affected by PIP unlike the old Income Based ESA where you received premiums.
