Indefinite award of DLA and access to UC Health Element was created by nitoda

My adult son is still on DLA with an indefinite award. He was in ESA support group too. He has had to transfer onto UC but has never been asked to transfer onto PIP. Does anybody know how he (and others, as he cannot be unique!) might be affected if PIP is allowed to be a gateway to UC Health element?

Hi nitoda

Migration from DLA to PIP is supposed to start again in 2028 - but the DWP has not said anything about those still left on the list recently. We can't tell you what will happen if PIP becomes a gateway to the UC Health Element, but I assume they'll realise they have to do something. As you said, your son will not be the only person affected if it does indeed happen.
