Hi.. Long story short. Was on esa, support group, disabled, didn't have to attend job centre, just support calls 2x year. Migrated to uc in November. Now have to attend job centre every 3 months.. to try to get bk to work.. which I know I will not be able to do. Also council tax to now be paid.. How do I avoid being hassled (that's how I feel & making me v anxious) Is new style esa an option & better for me does anyone know please
It looks like you're using your full name as your BenefitsandWork Forum user name. You would be advised to change it for internet security reasons as the Forum is in the public domain. It looks like the DWP/Universal Credit has made a mistake. This is because if you were in the Support Group then you should be placed in the UC LCWRA group and not have to attend the Jobcentre. You need to go into your UC account and look at your payment statement and check if there is a payment for the LCWRA element. If not then they have made a mistake.
