Do aids need to be prescribed by an OT or can you just get them yourself, please, for PIP?

Hi Orangeblossom

Aids can be ones that have been prescribed or ones that a claimant has decided to use themselves. A common one that some claimants may have bought themselves is a walking stick or adapted cutlery.
