RE: New PIP claim and Timms Review was created by Kuju2
Hi all,

I applied for PIP (sent for PIP2 form) back in Feb 2926.

Due to the Citizens Advice Beaureau being so stretched and no face to face appointments with them apart from at my local surgery every Monday has meant that I will most likely not be able to send my PIP2 from back until mid June.

My worry is that if I am not assessed and a decision is not made until after the Timms review is complete, will I be assessed and will the decision made be under the pre Timms review criteria or will I be assessed etc under the criteria which was in place when I applied?

Due to my Complex PTSD I am totally overthinking it all.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Kuju2

I would not worry in that respect at all as my understanding is that with the way Parliamentary legislation is scrutinised the PIP reforms would not be enacted until 2028.
Political media today suggest that Starmer could be gone by then and so may also the Timms review.
