I have been in touch with CAB but they won't get back to me for 5 days. However, I also rang a local solicitors and asked if they had somebody who understood benefits etc.. I explained what was happening and they basically told me that they could not help as I'd be receiving the money directly and to put it in a trust after, would deem to be a kind of fraud. And I imagine others would say the same. So it looks like I will lose my ESA. I'm already looking at ways to save money.. or cut down on outgoings. Oh well.

Briefly talked to a solicitor or somebody who works at a solicitors.. and they basically said that if I received the money and put it in a trust, it's kind of fraud and they couldn't help me do that, which I completely understand. So I'm now trying to get used to the idea that I will lose my benefit soon unless the CAB comes up with something but I doubt they will.
But I've been ringing around this morning to get a record of my NI contributions and also a state pension forecast. If I live till 2031.. just over 5 years to go till I'm eligible.
