Managing treatment -depression anxiety-PIP

I don't think the Assessor has this correct! You can get 1 point for needing to use an aid or appliance. This is defined as something that is used to help you manage your Health condition/s. It can be an official item such as a gadget from a disability shop or a makeshift item that you use.
In your example there is an argument that you succeed in taking you medicines correctly because your reminders work. Presumably without these you would tend to forget to take your medicine or take at the wrong time etc. if so this seems to be good evidence to establish a need for this aid and hence 1 point is available.
If you need someone to monitor your health eg take blood pressure, temperature, peak flow test or similar this will only achieve 1 point also.
The only way to achieve more points is requiring physical help for an amount of hours across the week. Points increase as the hours of help increase.
This sort of help could be eh assisting the claimant with physio exercises or maybe speech exercises or similar. If you need equipment help could be counted to set up the machine eg dialysis, tens machine, cpac mask for sleep apnoea etc. Help putting in compression stockings would come under this section not dressing. Help putting on eg leg or back brace would also count here.
You could ask DWP to conduct a mandatory review and or tribunal appeal. However unless you had either 7 points for daily living or 11 points. Then even a successful MR or appeal would not change your benefit award. With 7 points of course one more point could give you the standard rate, and likewise if on 11 points another point would provide sufficient to get enhanced rate. Otherwise nothing would or could change to provide a greater award.
