I was awarded PIP in 2020 after major surgery. Mostly recovered from that. They threw me ou after 2 years. Now my health is more complicated and mental health worse than ever.
I have my tel assesment next week and I need advice on what to say, not to say, how to be with them. Last one was so scary I just wanted it to be over.
Succinct advice greatly received.
I am Autistic
Complex PTSD
LOng Covid
Lichen Sclerosis
Mixed Anxiety & Depression
Permanently traumatised bowel after major surgery and resections.

Thanks for your help, kind people.
I want to feel prepared, safe, able to speak my truth.

Hi AL

Have a look at the various guides in the BenefitsandWork PIP resources centre:-
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip

You could explore making a diary of how your medical conditions affect your daily life.
You will find some templates for this in the PIP resources centre.

Let us know how you get on.
