Universal Credit Automated Claim Review - My Questions was created by York
I hope this is an appropriate question for this form, thank you for accepting my questions.
I deal with severe, often irrational anxiety and it completely paralyses me and makes it difficult to complete this review and even send a message to family.
My questions are:
I deal with severe, often irrational anxiety and it completely paralyses me and makes it difficult to complete this review and even send a message to family.
My questions are:
- If my rent is underdeclared, will this trigger a human review / landlord tenancy letter?
- Once i complete the initial claim review, will i get extra time for providing the tenancy letter if it is needed?
- Even though this is an automated review, can i still request extra time through the journal? I'm really already pushing it and i should not be.

Hi York
No as far as the rent is concerned. UC don't know when the rent is increased. If you want more UC to cover the increased rent then they expect you will tell them though it is not an offence to not do so.
Yes they will give you a reasonable amount of time to get a landlord's/agent's letter.
Yes to request extra time through the Journal choose as recipient A Payment and then your message will go to the UC Case Manager. Don't choose Message for Work Coach as for anything important they tend to be chocolate tea-pots.
