DLA - I have no GP was created by Sofie
Can someone please tell me what I write on my forms:

I'm registered as being at a GP practise; but I'm not registered (I've asked about this and have been told I've not been assigned to anyone) with a particular GP. Do I write nothing in the space where it asks for GP name?

  			 				Hi Sofie

It should tell you on your NHS card which dr you are assigned to. Failing that it could be worth putting down the GP who you normally see.

Mm

Most people these days will be with a practice and not a GP if you have seen one a couple of times you can still name the dr on the paper work, that said when they get any paper work who ever in the practice has the dla and IB form for that week...... will end up doing the form, a practice can be better than a named gp as a gp thinks he knows you....... a duty practice dr knows bugger all and just might take 2 mins to read up on you

Ho sofi. I would contact your practice manager and explain everything to him/her, they will be able to sort out your GP and help you with the concerns that you have. Best Wishes

These days when you register with an NHS GP you register with a practice not an individual GP. It's been like that since 2004, so the DWP is lagging behind with its paperwork.

I know what card you mean and don't have one. Not long after registering, I received a letter from the PCT. (Primary care Trust) The letter just stated that I'm now registered as a patient at the new practise.
