Jumping the gun!

Sorry for bombarding the site with questions but I am feeling very anxious today!

If I loose my appeal and go on JSA, am I right in believing that I can only be on it for 6 months?

If this is the case, what happens if you haven't got a job at the end of 6 months?

You can get contributions based JSA for six months only, and after that if you are still out of work, you can claim income related JSA.

Thanks Survivor, I'm being naive, I really thought that was it after 6 months!

Although I wouldn't put it past them!
