DLA was created by malthus

Hello,
my first post so take it easy with me.

If someone is receiving DLA (HRM and LRC) but not receiving IB or any other benefit, how will they be affected with these new ESA rules?

Will they still have to go for medicals?

If you are not in receipt of IB then there will be no affect.

However, the government have stated that they intend to re-assess everybody on DLA and there appears to be an intention to include a medical, similar in nature to the ESA Work Capability Assessment.

At this time information is limited and I do not think any timescales for the process have been stated, given the number of IB claimants to be processed it would seem unlikely that anything will happen before 2014.
