ESA AND DLA

I just wanted to say thankyou to this website. I used the forms on here to fill out my forms at home, and studied the questions for the medicals. I have been awarded low rate care from the DLA, I found out today i have been put into the work related group of ESA.
I cried my eyes out when i read the letter this morning i was convinced i was going to be forced on to job seekers allowance.
I have fibromyalgia that was triggered after a minor opperation in january last year. I have had a nightmare year, lost my job and my whole world has been turned upsidedown.
I am very glad i came across this site and will be recommending it to others.

Hi, that is great news! I too have fibromyalgia and have been on assessment phase since may last year, only just had home visit from ESA dr in feb and awarded same as you in work related ESA. I too have trouble with my mobility but didn't know I could get mobility and if so how do i go about it? Well done anyhow it's such a tiresome relief isn't it x
