Job seekers allowance advice please

Hi,
My husband works full time as does my Daughter. However since graduating from Uni last summer, my son has not been able to find any work. I am too worried for him to claim Job seekers allowance, because I am in receipt of DLA and SDA.I worry that they may start to investigate me sooner (as regards to these new medicals ) if he also claims a benefit at our address. Am I correct in thinking this?

Regrettably I have deleted my own post as I misunderstood the OP's question.

I can't see any reason why they should. Indeed, if you are claiming DLA because you have care needs, then having someone living with you who could provide some of that care certainly wouldn't go against establishing your needs.

However, who will be assessed for ESA first is something of a mystery, with so many different messages coming out of the DWP that I despair of giving sound advice to anyone on the matter.

Cross-posted, but it would seem that our advice is the same.
