Gordon, I read your reply with interest. Does this mean that a DWP decision maker can make a judgement on entitlement to esa based on information held re ib? despite the fact that the criteria are very different?

Only in limited circumstances and specifically with regard to eligibility for the Support Group, for example, the claimant is receiving chemotherapy.

I don't see anyway that they could use the results from an IB medical yesterday, to make a decision with regard to the ESA WCA tests, today, as they are very different with different success criteria.

Hi all, can I just refine the question slightly.

Has anyone who has been long term IB PCA exempt, had any contact from DWP/ATOS regarding their transition to ESA?

Cheers
