I thought severe pain would be more serious than severe discomfort. I know it says on the form how far can you walk without severe discomfort? So why can't you put severe pain instead which more than likely is what people say, not I am in severe discomfort ins't it though?

I have tried to find whereabouts it says about this but can't find it, sorry.

Yes, like you I thought that pain would suggest or substitute for discomfort because if in severe pain, it surely follows that you are in discomfort....... doesnt it?

That is why it feels to me that the goalposts get moved to suit the situation ......but maybe thats just me?
