DLA Appeal for my 11 yr old was created by cactus
I have to represent my 11 years old. Do you advise that I take her with me. I do not know if it will be stressful for her.

Hi Cactus

Children are generally not expected to attend appeal hearings.

Please see Jim's post below.

Good luck

Whilst it's not expected of you to take a child with you, perhaps on the day that you have to go you felt that your daughter was well enough, it might be a good idea, after all seeing is believing, and I'm sure that she would be seen as a child and treated accordingly, you never know, it could just sway the panel in her favour that little bit more.
