Crisis loan was created by fedupn45
What does a crisis loan involve? I have been told until I lodge an appeal I will not get any benefits. I wrote for a copy of my medical report and appeal form on 4/7/11 and still haven't received them, so it isn't my fault I haven't appealed!!
I am unable to go out at the moment following surgery last week and I am also suffering with severe depression. How do you go about getting a crisis loan? I find this all very humiliating, yet I have no money and near the max on my overdraft, but still have bills to pay and look after two teenagers.
It just goes from bad to worse!!!!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Places like CABs can often sort one out on the phone. I mention this because it can be expensive phoning, although I think there's usually a phone you can use in the JobCentre, but there may be a queue for that and a lot of background noise etc.
