pre form phone call was created by helchis

hi who is conducting the pre form phone calls is it dwp or atos.i had the phone call but didnt answer,my partner rang it back but just said you was phoned by the dwp.when he phoned normal number on my behalf he was then put though through to the assesment team is that atos or dwp

As I understand it there is a Transfer Team in each Benefit Delivery Centre (BDC), who are specifically responsible for handling the IB to ESA transfers. It is this team that make the inital phone calls, they then pass the claimants file to ATOS, if necessary, for an ESA50 to be issued.

I am pretty sure it wasn't someone from the local BDC here as he wasn't Scottish and struggled with pronunciation of my address and had he been local he would have known how to say it, I got impression he was calling from England somewhere.
