Hmn.... curious. was created by Judy
Looking back on my old notes regarding my DLA and found a letter headed PCA-scrutiny
Now this letter came from when I was asked to attend the first of the five back to work assessments, this was in 2009. I in no way was informed that this was a PCA scrutint thing? Should I have been told? I was obviously being assessed medically and the letter is signed by an SR Nurse.
She at the end of the interview at the job centre, said... You won't need to come for the other assessments I shall waive them.
I know this was a long time ago but was I subjected to a dirty trick?

Hi Judy.
Am not sure why the 'PCA Scrutiny' heading, but wonder if what you are describing is that Work Related Health Assessment thing - what was it called? that was carried out by Atos but suspended awhile ago?
I find the term 'scrutiny' frightening and offensive.
Am not sure if I dreamt it or was hallucinating, but i thought i saw a cartoon picture of a doctor with an over-sized magnifying glass on the Atos web-site, but it wasn't there next time i looked!

Sometimes it is not beneficial to look in the past.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

From what I can find, the PCA Scrutiny document is part of the IB claim process and is completed to indicate whether the claimant is to be exempted from Work Focussed Interviews.

The Work-focused health-related assessment is part of ESA and so wouldn't be used for someone on IBAm not sure why the 'PCA Scrutiny' heading, but wonder if what you are describing is that Work Related Health Assessment thing - what was it called? that was carried out by Atos but suspended awhile ago?
