Is GP sent a copy of ESA medical report?

Is GP sent a copy of ESA medical report? was created by asdman
I was just wondering whether your GP is sent a copy of your ESA medical report or any other information by ATOS or DWP?

my GP was sent a copy of my esa medical 1 month after,will say i have complained a atos doctor to atos,but had no final answer from atos, had 2 letters from atos stating still waiting for doctors coments, its been 2 months since i complained to customer relalions at atos,i do think the doctor wanted to rub it in to my GP of all the untruths on my esa medical because he did not take notice of my true descriptors,but my GP knows the true descriptors that i have,before my medical atos or dwp did not write to my GP for evidence,i may give atos a ring.

There are very few circumstances where your ATOS medical report would be sent to your GP without your consent. See section 3.1.5 on page 48 of the WCA handbook in the Members Only area.

This may be something to add to your complaint.

i have read in members area the handbook page 48,it says a UE1 form should be filled out & sent within 24hrs with claiments premission & a copy given to claiment,i was given no copy & it was sent to my GP one month after,so atos doctors make there own rules dont they,i will have to go to my gp & check if it is a UE1 form,i know he said it was a statement of my esa medical but he did not read it to me, only told me it was from medical services stating about medical,i will ask for a copy.
