Medical Day - Double check appointment before goin

Today was my medical, I had to travel 45 minutes to the centre. I arrived early, only to find that they had no appointment for me, although I shown her the letter that had been sent to myself. She checked the system and told me it had been cancelled, I end up a blubbering mess, due to all the stress and anxiety, and thinking I would have to go back. I am then informed that I did not need to attend the medical because of further information they had received about me, they claimed to have sent a letter 3 weeks prior informing me of that fact, but obviously I never received it. So I had to endure the last few weeks of worrying myself silly for nothing.

Sorry to hear this, quite understand your anxiety and worry. We are receiving more and more members reporting the last minute cancelling of appointments.

As they claim to have advised you of this, which you didn't receive, you could make a complaint. However it seems that the decision may now be in your favour? Therefore, whilst you have been inconvenienced, it may be better to leave things until you know for sure?
