DLA RENEWAL-Date for reciept of renewal forms

My DLA runs out at the end of March 2012. I have not received a renewal pack yet and if they send them out 6 months before DLA is due to end, I should have received it this month. Do I need to panic, or just call them if not heard anything by end of November?

Hi,

At the moment it seems to be the case that the 'renewal' application forms are sent somewhere between 3 and 5 months prior to an award expiring.

my renewal forms arrived in September for an award that expires in March 2012 (that was when they told me I had been granted dla, my forms had been sent back in the January) so if it was to march then it is 6 months, if to January when forms returned then it is 4 months in advance of expiring. You can always phone and double check when they are due to be sent out as this will give you time to start collating your evidence. I just phoned about my ESA due to expire in November 2011 as I have not heard a thing, was told forms due to come out on 10th Nov with 6 weeks to return.
