Trying to request help

Hi Guys,
As mentioned earlier last week due to see my GP and saw her yesterday. I was really apprenhensive about this, so took the trouble to write down the things I was expereinceing and about worrying if she would support me for a letter with the assessment, as it is playing on my mind and when anxous everything worries x9. I am going through serious personal issues with a close family member about to stand trial and is due to attend court in the next few weeks.
She read my letter, as advised by friends/family and the cmht that I should do and when she read the part about the benefits assessments and my worries about it, and whether she would support me I got screamed at. I told her to please do not do that, to be told I need telling. She had me in tears and in bits, and I have massive problems with appointments anyway. It feels whatever I do is wrong they are not going through this or being affected by all this are they? I kept my cool and did not rise to her anger. It was just a general question would she support me with a letter and to ask now so I am prepared and I get this. She told me to priortise my stresses, I have felt really down anyway, but this has not helped. Due to see her again in the next few weeks. If I was anxious yesterday I will be terrified then, espeically as the appointment is a few days after the court date appearance for my close realtive. The GP has been really good in the past, and I am trying to see it as she had a bad day for whatever reason, so I do not want to complain and change GP's as I could not cope with it. Really do not this, but a little understanding would go a long way right now.

I had a similar thinng happen to me. It apperas that GPs are now being told to get us back to work see the news section of this site.
Good luck I know how you feel about seeing her again I'm looking into getting another doctor mine made me feel like a slug.
