B & W Handbook 8. Hearing was created by Little Jim
Can you help me?
In the B&W Handbook
item 8. Hearing.
Completing questionnaire
Paragraph-
Can you hear?
It states that Atos are told that this will only apply in exceptional cases e g with a binaural hearing threshold above 90db
Can you please tell me what this means?
On my hearing chart my ears are between 90db and 110db
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Ralph
Can I first ask you to check that you are using the current version of the ESA guides dated 11/11, as the test you are referring to should be "7. Other People Communicating With You".
Binaural refers to both ears, 90db refers to the "loudness" of a sound, 110db is louder than 90db.

Thanks Gordon
It is question 7 on ESA form.I have down loaded 8. Hearing from B&W Handbook. Did not realise that it had been updated.
I still don't understand why over90db is an Exceptional case?
