CONTACTING FOR RE ACCESSMENT TO GO TO ESA was created by mrbluesky57
I have waited for 14 days to be contacted! They have all my correct details including correct phone number. On the 14th day my daughter contacted them on my behalf. They said not to worry give it a few days. Tried again, on hold for an hour and a half. Surely the balls in their court if we cannot get through. I would
be very grateful for any advice as I dont want to lose any benefits. Regards, Keith.

Hi MBS,
Your best option if you have concerns, would be to put said concerns in writing, keeping copy, and posting the letter by recorded delivery.
You will then have a paper audit trail to prove that you have raised your concerns.

I'm sorry but it is not clear from your post what you are expecting the DWP to be contacting you about.

I think it sounds likje the 14 days after the transfer letter that the DWP are meant to contact you by phone

Hi Mick, that is correct! What would you suggest? My daughter waited 15 mins for one dept then well over an hour for the right dept! And still no contact. Thanks for your reply, regards, Keith.

The next action is for them to send you an ESA50 to complete. If you haven't received this by Christmas then I would suggest you contact them next week, but otherwise, there is no requirement for you to speak to the DWP on the phone.

Unless you have questions for the DWP, you do not need to take this call, nor do you need to contact the DWP.Hi Mick, that is correct! What would you suggest?
