It would seem that this is unrelated to the non payment of your Assessment Rate of ESA.

The only thing that I can suggest is to recontact them.

Thank you for the information. Very useful. Was in touch with the DWP yesterday when I got back from Dublin. I was promised a call-back within 3 hours, didn't happen. Phoned again, didn't get call back until this morning and it was too late to process my claim because it is Friday. Was promised another call today, still no call - but I have been assured that my claim is now a priority. I know I can make a complaint, but I'm so desperate now that I don't want to preempt anything. That's how paranoid and dejected I am now, caused by awful incompetence on their part. They've had my appeal documentation since 2 or 3 December. I sent it recorded delivery and tracked it. Thanks again Bro...

If you feel you are entitled to the Assessment Rate Of ESA and have not received it, I would suggest that you ask for face to face advice from an Agency listed below, who can advocate on your behalf. see here -
