Hi Everyone,

Sorry if I have posted twice but find it difficult to concentrate.
The dreaded brown envelope has arrived and I have got through to the Support group.
I had given up completely as it has taken so long. There is no indication of time on the letter. Thank you to all the people that give their time to support this website.
The guides are excellent, but I always feel
i cannot put my point accross especially
in a different language. I don't know if I should ask for the copy of the dr's medicial or not. But for today I will
just relax. The thread has been extremely quiet os I hope everyone else is well.
Thank you again.

If you do want to request a copy of the medical report, have a look at the following FAQ

Glad to hear your news Worried, and I suppose I should say congratulations on being placed in the support group, but I always find that strange when somebody has posted that on this forum, as basically the person is saying congratulations your health is so spent that even DWP believe you. But seriously I know it is a big worry that has taken been away, especially knowing your health cover will continue via your E121. I guess you can change your user name to maybe: ‘not quite so worried’ or ‘not worrying until the next brown envelope’. OK I will stop there.

On a personal note my wife is still waiting for her appointment for her medical, and I must admit I dread opening the postbox in the morning now, knowing that sooner or later the envelope will be in there. Still must stay positive, and the fact you have been placed in the support group after having a medical here in France gives me some hope that justice will be done in the end.

Best wishes, and enjoy your life in France.

Hi Worried,
Congratulations is probably not quite the right word but That iis good news, it also gives hope to the rest of us . I am still waiting it is 3 months since my medical in Morlaix and the postbox is empty I try not to think about it everyday but pain does concentrate the mind. Anyway I was pleased to hear your good news and hope that you are feeling on the up at least for a while. I will also post when the brown envelope arrives.

Hi Worried, I'm glad you've had the decision; it must be a weight off your mind. I've not heard anything yet but I would imagine it won't be long now as I had my assessment at the beginning of January.

Hi Worried, I was wondering if you have been notified of a time since your last posting.

I am still waiting to hear the result of my assessment which was done at the beginning of January.

Has anyone else over here had their assessment and result?
